Hoodoo Salmon Package Itinerary
Chinook (King) Salmon Package Itinerary:
The day before – Arrival and overnight stay in Anchorage.
Day 1 – Flight to Cold Bay from Anchorage via Peninsula Airways. You will be met at the Cold Bay airport by a Hoodoo Lodge representative. From Cold Bay you will be transported by private floatplane directly to the Hoodoo Sport Fishing Lodge on the remote Hoodoo River. The mountain scenery en route is stunning, with brown bear and caribou sightings common. Once at the lodge you will be welcomed by our seasoned staff, have a chance to settle in, and prepare for a world class sport fishing experience, and an unforgettable Alaskan adventure.
Days 2 to 6 – Enjoy the excellent King Salmon fishing, beautiful scenery, and unmatched hospitality that is an everyday occurrence at Hoodoo. Your days will be split between fishing out of the lodge daily with jet boats; an optional two-day raft trip on the Hoodoo River from Hoodoo Lake down river to the lodge; or an optional single day fly-out excursion to Hoodoo Lake for great Dolly Varden fishing (weather permitting). On trips away from the lodge, nights are spent at comfortable, secluded spike camps.
Day 7 – Enjoy another flight-seeing venture in Hoodoo’s private floatplane from Hoodoo Lodge to Cold Bay, continuing on to Anchorage via Peninsula Airways scheduled flights.
The day after – Return to the real world with your new memories.
Coho (Silver) Salmon Package Itinerary

Day 2 to 7 – Enjoy great Silver Salmon fishing, beautiful scenery, and great hospitality from our professional Hoodoo staff. Your days will be split between fishing out of the lodge with jet boats, optional two or three day raft trips on the upper Hoodoo River, and/or an optional two-day fly out adventure on a nearby wilderness river. On trips away from the lodge, nights are spent at comfortable, secluded spike camps.
Day 8 – Enjoy another flight-seeing venture in Hoodoo’s private floatplane from Hoodoo Lodge to Cold Bay, continuing on to Anchorage via Peninsula Airways scheduled flights.
The day after – Return to the real world with your newly created memories.
