The day before – Arrival and overnight stay in Anchorage.

Day 1 – Flight to Cold Bay from Anchorage via Peninsula Airways. You will be met at the Cold Bay airport by a Hoodoo Lodge representative.  From Cold Bay you will be transported by private floatplane directly to the Hoodoo Sport Fishing Lodge on the remote Hoodoo River.  This flight is exceptionally beautiful, typically complete with brown bear and caribou sightings.

Once at the lodge you will be welcomed by our incredible staff, have a chance to settle in, and prepare for a world-class sport fishing experience and an unforgettable Alaskan adventure.

Days 2 to 7 – Enjoy the excellent fishing, beautiful scenery, and excellent hospitality Hoodoo has to offer.  Your typical Steelhead week with Hoodoo will consist of two days fishing the prime water upriver accessible out of the lodge via jet boat, a two night/three day float through prime steelhead water on the upper stretches of the Hoodoo River, and a two day/one night fly-out trip to the nearby prime water of the David River.  On trips away from the lodge, nights are spent at comfortable, secluded spike camps complete with electricity and heat. Overnight trips are optional; clients may choose to spend more days fishing the waters accessible by jet boat from the lodge.

Day 8 – Enjoy another floatplane/flightseeing venture in Hoodoo’s private floatplane from Hoodoo Lodge to Cold Bay, continuing on to Anchorage via Peninsula Airways scheduled flights.

The day after – Return to the real world with your newly created memories.
